Wix Hosting Costs

No reputable website designer should tie you into a contract to host your website. If you are in a hosting contract this a very costly way of running a small business. In my opinion the best practice is for the client to own and control the hosting account for their website, not the designer, as this gives the client full autonomy and prevents vendor lock-in.
